Project Scope for The Sheridan Point Building
Exterior Façade Investigation and the Implementation of Phased Façade Restoration Program was Performed at 325 North Sheridan Road, Chicago, Illinois. In addition, The Interior of the 6-level Parking Garage Structure was Investigated and the Implementation of Phased Restoration Program was performed.
Mueller & Associates (MA) Investigated a 6-level concrete parking structure and reported conditions to ownership. Ownership opted to implement a phased repair program for the garage due to budget constraints, MA developed full restoration construction documents for the phased restoration of the parking garage structure. In addition to the parking structure, MA investigated the facades in order to put together a phased restoration program for the property, due to excessive masonry distress caused by corroding steel structural supports. After investigating MA devised a phased plan for ownership to address observed distresses in the exterior walls.
